Lara Capparuccia - Organist

Lara has been a music director/ organist for nearly 30 years and has worked in churches across the denominational spectrum. In addition, she has also worked in many theater productions, notably, as the music director for Campbell University's theater department. An accomplished musician, Lara has accompanied many outstanding musicians as well as performed herself in a number of venues.

With her husband, Sean, she has homeschooled their five children from Kindergarten to graduation and teaches music in their private studio in Richlands.

Sean Capparrucia - Choir Director

Sean is an accomplished musician and has been directing choirs and praise and worship groups for over 20 years. He holds a B.S. in Theology from the University of Mt. Olive and has been slowly pecking away at an M. Div for several years. He is a licensed preacher and holds to the Reformed principal of preaching the "whole counsel" of God.

Sean is also a piano tuner and with wife, Lara, operates a private music studio teaching a number of instruments, voice, and choral and band ensembles.

Melissa Griffin - Church Secretary

Melissa and her husband Travis moved to Clinton in April of 2005. She was reared in Richlands, N.C where her parents and siblings still reside.

She began her duties as Office Assistant in 2005 and Secretary in February 2011. Prior to joining the staff of Graves Memorial Presbyterian Church, she was a stay-at-home mom to their wonderful daughter Kathryn "Katie".

Melissa stays active through her volunteer work with Katie's Girl Scout Troop 1550, Clinton City Schools and being personal chauffeur to daughter Katie, just to name a few.

Melissa loves to read, work in her garden and enjoys playing golf.

Bill Scott - Treasurer

Bill and his wife, Darby, joined GMPC in 1989. Bill has served the church as Elder and Deacon and now sings in the Choir and teaches Sunday School. He began his duties as Treasurer in 2001.

He works for First Citizens Bank as the Sampson County Market Executive and is active in the community. Darby is employed by the Clinton City Schools teaching 6th grade language arts.

They have three adult daughters and three son-in-laws: Sarah Lane and her husband Jonathan Lane; Kathryn Jackson and her husband Bryan Jackson; and Allison Driver and her husband Chris Driver.

Bill loves long bicycle rides and enjoys being on the water - fishing or boating.

Ted Qualls - Custodian

From East Stone Gap, VA where he was a Coal Miner, Ted moved to North Carolina in 1998 and married Lenettie Hinson Royal. After moving to NC, he worked at Alcatel, which became Sanmina before he retired. Ted has one son, Jeffrey Qualls, and two step children, Jamie Royal and Wendy Royal Cabral. He is "Papa Ted" to Kyle and Brooke Qualls, Colby Royal and Lensey Cabral.
